I'm Jahnavi Arasu, a 17 year old who lives in Katy, Texas. I'm a senior at Seven Lakes High School, where I'm involved in the National and Science National Honor Societies, the Vice President of the HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) club, and a part of the Katy ISD Miller Clinical Rotations Program. In this program, I get to shadow healthcare workers and observe the specialties of local hospitals.

Throughout my time in high school I've volunteered at places like the Ballard House, free housing for cancer patients and their families receiving treatment, and the Cardiology Center of Houston, where I've witnessed the impact medicine can have on individuals and their families.

I'm currently applying to universities as a pre-med, public health major and I hope to attend medical school. I'd also love to be a volunteer for MSF to aid disadvantaged and underprivileged communities around the world.

When I'm not busy with school, I love to watch movies, cuddle with my dog Max, and travel with my family.
